In Minnesota, we know “skijoring” as sled dogs pulling nordic skiers. Last weekend, P. and I stumbled across this in Leadville, CO:
Skijoring, Colorado style.
Horses, galloping down a snow-covered street, pulling downhill skiers over jumps and past hanging hoops. The skiers grabbed as many hoops as they could, flying down the track like a winter water skier. There was more than one wipe-out.
